Que Alegría! What Joy! Last week we witnessed baptisms from our Bilingual Church Plant.. This week we plan to commission Verdad en Amor Baptist Church as well as those from our church who are committing to serve the plant for the next two years. Two familiar songs of worship begin our worship.

Worship Notes: Our worship tomorrow is filled with celebrations — we will celebrate our graduates and we will celebrate new life in Christ through the symbol of baptism. For the Christian, celebrations of daily life are rooted in the truth that these moments are a gift from God.

Worship Notes: Sometimes, when I’m planning worship, I will pick a song that answers the question that another song poses. Tomorrow, we will sing a familiar song, “I Will Not Be Shaken,” followed by a less familiar one, “Same God.”

Worship Notes: Tomorrow, we will sing a new song for the first time, “All Sufficient Merit.” The text is loaded with Biblical imagery and scripture — so much that there’s really no one passage that can possibly summarize it. Romans 8:1, “There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus”
