WHAT TO EXPECT
Upon arriving at our campus, we have a number of guest parking spaces located near our front entrance. Follow the signs to our Welcome Center, and we will be glad to assist you. Our worship service begins on Sundays, 10:30AM. We typically conclude around 11:45AM.
Feel free to wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable.
If you have small children, we welcome them in the worship service. However, if you would like assistance, we have nursery and extended care for those under five.
WHAT TYPE OF WORSHIP DO YOU HAVE?
When we meet for worship, our aim is to glorify God, learn his truth, and commit ourselves to follow his will.
On a typical Lord's Day, we glorify God by singing gospel-centered songs, we express our dependence on God in prayer, we support God's work by giving a financial offering, we are taught God's Word through expository preaching, and we depart by responding to God's calling and mission in obedience. We do all of these things together as the unified fellowship of God's people. At various times throughout the year we partake of the Lord's Supper and perform baptisms for new believers.
Our church uses the ESV Bible. However, we welcome any Bible translation that is faithful to the orginal languages and text.
While there are countless preferences and opinions concerning how to worship through song, there are three crucial categories that we strive to maintain: theological, singable, and beautiful.
Theological: Above everything else, we want our worship songs to be theologically rich and biblically accurate. Regardless of how popular a song might be or how pleasing it might sound, our aim is to only worship with songs that are biblically-saturated and gospel-centered.
Singable: While our primary aim is to sing songs that are theologically rich, we understand that God is most glorified when his people sing them together. Therefore, we choose songs that our people can sing well. In fact, even though we highly value instrumentation in worship, we desire the uplifted voices of our people the most.
Beautiful: A final element of our worship & music ministry is beauty. We want to choose songs that are written with beautiful words and musical arrangements, and perform them with excellence. God deserves our best when we worship together.
Please let us know if there are any other questions you might have.
