Justin came to FBC Dandridge in the fall of 2015, after serving as pastor of two churches in Georgia. He is originally from Smithville, TN, and is a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min, Expository Preaching, 2012), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div, Pastoral Ministry, 2006), and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (B.S., Accounting, 2002). He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Carson-Newman University. His faithful wife Emily is a women's ministry leader and writer. They have two precious daughters, Sadie and Jade.
Justin has a passion for expository preaching and teaching, and a heart for gospel-centered ministry in the local church. Along with ministry, he enjoys spending time with his family, writing, reading theology, playing golf, watching sports, and traveling. He and his family have lifelong goals of visiting all of America’s National Parks.

Cory has been serving as Associate Pastor of Spiritual Growth and Missions at First BaptistChurch, Dandridge since August of 2008. As Associate Pastor, he oversees all aspects of education at FBC including Adult Bible Fellowships, Christian Life University, and Small Groups. He also oversees all of the local, national, and international mission efforts. His desire is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to empower them for ministry and to be on mission.
Cory holds a Bachelor of Arts in Church Recreation from Carson-Newman University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Cory is a member of the Tennessee Baptist Religious Educators Association as well as a board member of Appalachian Outreach and the Dandridge Christian Learning Center.
Cory is married to his wife Courtney who is a teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy. The Hammetts have four children Ansley, Lila, Judson, and Maeve. Cory loves spending time with his family, playing golf, fishing and watching UT Athletics. Go Vols!
Rev. JOEL OGLE
Pastor of Worship and Counseling
Pastor Joel began serving at FBC Dandridge in April 2025. Over the past 15 years, he has served as a worship pastor in several churches, and his experience extends to teaching, outreach, student ministry, and communications. He holds numerous ministry degrees and certificates, including a Master of Divinity from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. Currently, he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Psychology/Theology from Liberty University, with a focus on Christian Counseling. Joel and his wife, Amber, reside in Sevierville.

Joe joined the First Baptist team in April of 2023. He has earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Theology from The Baptist College of Florida and a Masters of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Dandridge, Joe has served churches in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Kentucky.
Joe leads our children's ministries and is passionate about introducing the next generation to the Lord Jesus Christ. A father of three himself, Joe loves working with parents to help them be the best parents they can be as they lead theirfamilies to follow Jesus.
Joe is married to the love of his life, Danielle, and they have three incredible children: Lydia, Ezra, and Silas. In his free time Joe loves playing video games with his kids, watching college football (Geaux Tigers), and watching almost anything nerdy.
