Justin came to FBC Dandridge in the fall of 2015, after serving as pastor of two churches in Georgia. He is originally from Smithville, TN, and is a graduate of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (D.Min, Expository Preaching, 2012), Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div, Pastoral Ministry, 2006), and the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (B.S., Accounting, 2002). He currently serves on the Board of Trustees at Carson-Newman University. His faithful wife Emily is a women's ministry leader and blogger, and a high school science teacher at Lakeway Christian Academy. They have two precious daughters, Sadie and Jade.
Justin has a passion for expository preaching and teaching, and a heart for gospel-centered ministry in the local church. Along with ministry, he enjoys spending time with his family, writing, reading theology, playing golf, watching sports, and traveling. He and his family have lifelong goals of visiting all of America’s National Parks.

Cory has been serving as Associate Pastor of Spiritual Growth and Missions at First Baptist Church, Dandridge since August of 2008. As Associate Pastor, he oversees all aspects of education at FBC including Adult Bible Fellowships, Christian Life University, and Small Groups. He also oversees all of the local, national, and international mission efforts. His desire is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ and to empower them for ministry and to be on mission.
Cory holds a Bachelor of Arts in Church Recreation from Carson-Newman University and a Master of Arts in Christian Education from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Cory is a member of the Tennessee Baptist Religious Educators Association as well as a board member of Appalachian Outreach and the Dandridge Christian Learning Center.
Cory is married to his wife Courtney who is a teacher at Cornerstone Christian Academy. The Hammetts have four children Ansley, Lila, Judson, and Maeve. Cory loves spending time with his family, playing golf, fishing and watching UT Athletics. Go Vols!
DR. CHRIS HEADLEY

Chris joined our staff in February of 2010. A native of Ohio, Chris attended the University of Richmond and received a Bachelor of Arts in Leadership Studies, a specialized multidisciplinary Business Degree focused on nonprofit organizations. He met his wife, Kristel, while attending Richmond. Following college, Chris studied for the MDiv. in Church Music at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition, Chris has an MA in Worship Studies from Liberty University, a MMus in Choral Conducting from Messiah University, and a Doctorate of Worship Studies from the Robert E. Webber Institute for Worship Studies.
Chris has responsibility at First Baptist for all of the music and worship ministries of the church including all age-graded vocal choirs, age-graded bell choirs, Adult Choir, orchestra, and ensemble groups. In addition to his responsibilities at First Baptist, Chris has served as the President of the Tennessee Baptist Church Music Conference, sings with the Tennessee Men’s Chorale, and consults with churches on their worship and audio-visual needs. He serves as Adjunct Professor of Church Music and Worship leadership at Carson-Newman University and teaches worship leadership in the Ministry Training Institute at Samford.
Chris and his wife, Dr. Kristel Headley, have a son and daughter-in-law, Micah and Laura, who live in Pittsburgh, and a ten-year-old daughter, Ellie. Kristel is a professor and director of the Graduate Counseling Program at Johnson University. As a family, the Headleys enjoy traveling, music and the arts, water sports, and just being together.

Josh joined the staff in March of 2023. He comes to our church after serving in two churches in North Carolina and Tennessee. He is a native of East Tennessee and holds degrees from Walter State Community College (AS in Business), The University of Tennessee-Knoxville (BA in Psychology) and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary (M.Div. in Christian Ministry).
â€Josh loves having the opportunity to partner with parents to equip and reach young people with the Good News of Jesus. He has a strong desire to equip and encourage teens (and parents) to live by faith in God’s Word through prayer, missional living and other holy habits.
On a personal note. Josh is married to his wonderful wife, Maygen. They have two kids (Jaxson and Brooklynn). Their family motto is simply to “Love Jesus and have lots of fun along the way!” Beyond this, he loves good food, a good college football Saturday, a good cup of coffee and some time outdoors.

Joe joined the First Baptist team in April of 2023. He has earned a Bachelor's of Arts in Theology from The Baptist College of Florida and a Masters of Theological Studies from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to coming to Dandridge, Joe has served churches in Florida, Alabama, Georgia, and Kentucky.
Joe leads our children's ministries and is passionate about introducing the next generation to the Lord Jesus Christ. A father of three himself, Joe loves working with parents to help them be the best parents they can be as they lead their families to follow Jesus.
Joe is married to the love of his life, Danielle, and they have three incredible children: Lydia, Ezra, and Silas. In his free time Joe loves playing video games with his kids, watching college football (Geaux Tigers), and watching almost anything nerdy.
